The Mountain School of Arts was founded in 2005 with the intention of creating an expansive educational community operating as a supplement and amendment to the university system. It is the oldest continuous artist-run school in California, every year offering an independent program to selected students from all over the world. The MSA^ program is delivered by a serious faculty and is characterised by committed engagement, remarkable encounters and a spirit of inquiry.
